IN DAUGHTER'S (FEDDIE ADAMS BARNETT) BIBLE. THE PARENTAGE OF BOTH WYATT AND MARTHA ARE UNKNOWN. CENSUS RECORDS SHOW BIRTHPLACE FOR WYATT AS TN. AND FOR MARTHA MISSOURI TERRITORY.

Wyatt Woodruff ADAMS and Martha Jane MORE were married on 8 May 1844 in Monroe, Sevier, AR. Martha Jane MORE was born on 9 Dec 1822 in Missouri Territory.¹ She died after 1861. Martha was reportedly the daughter of a Choctaw Indian chief. She was also a possible sister of Mary Ann Isabelle Devore who married Walter S. Riley. I believe the spelling on Wyatt and Martha's marriage record could be wrong, and that Martha's name was Martha Devore. Wyatt Woodruff ADAMS and Martha Jane MORE had the following children:
